LeBasse Projects “Vous Avez ete Juste Servi”- 03.14.09
Huge congrats to Beau and Christine Basse on their new Culver City space for LeBasse Projects! I had the pleasure of checking out their first show there tonight, “Vous Avez ete Juste Servi”, and it is a stunning group show definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! Take a look at the new space and some of my favorite pieces from the show on the next page…
Here’s Amanda Visell’s Griffin Rider
Nate Frizzell’s “She Imagines a Better World”
Brian Donnelly’s Grizzly Transplant
Another Nate Frizzell piece in Beau’s office…
Two pieces by Laura Ball
Michelle Valigura’s Cat Tea Party
Edwin Ushiro’s “Seconds Forced into Meaninglessness”
Two pieces by Melissa Haslam…
Jeremy Asher Lynch’s “The Survival of Mickey on the Mississippi”
Scott Balcastro’s Marigold ~ the close up is up top! So stunning up close!
Eric Fortune’s The Escapist ~ also amazing detail as you can see below…
Jack Long’s The Watering house
Meryl Donoghue’s “10 For The Devil’s Own”
Casey Ruble’s Where the Wind
Nice pictures, horrible french: vous avez été juste servi is probably googles answer to “you’ve just been served” i guess. but in french you would read: “vous venez d’être servi”
