“Nido” by Javier Pastor- 04.03.10

chair1.jpg I currently have a thing for super multipurpose furniture… especially the type that is versatile and beautiful enough to fit in both inside and out! Launching at the Salone in Milan in a few weeks ~ here is a peek at Expormim’s new “Nido” by Javier Pastor. Isn’t it just perfect for the simple mod california house… or out on the deck? And it’s so very NOTCOT, coming in only black and white! See a close up on the next page…

“An armchair or bench seat, ‘Nido’ is built of 6mm steel tube and rods. Spanish designer and teacher Javier Pastor wanted to do a range that would find its place as naturally on a terrace as beside a pool, and may even be used in the interior. Sober and snug in spite of its light-weight metal structure, it comes in black and white finishes.”

Hi,

does anyone know how much this armchair costs?
Can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks!
Kristel

This is a really nice piece. Would look great next to a pool or in the garden of any modern home. I like the idea of it being a “basket” that holds an assortment of pillows.
Craftsmanship looks good too.
