NOTCOT.COM started in March 2005 and reaches 150,000+ international visitors monthly.
NOTCOT is dedicated to:
1. DESIGN. A love and admiration of well designed things. There is no reason for something today not to be aesthetically stunning.
2. IMAGERY. We organize our design and features around enticing, well composed images. The images speak for themselves, so text is secondary - but we always provide frank, honest, insightful reviews.
3. CURATION. We highlight inspiring products and concepts for designers, boutiques, and consumers. The side tags host monthly gallery showings of up and coming artists which link to Gallery Notcot.
NOTCOT.org was launched May 2006 to fill our need for a place to collect and share fascinating images/links [With a global team, we missed having a "studio bulletin board" to post everything from comics to design research]
NOTCOT.org was focused on instant gratification in both reading and posting to .org - posting takes as little effort as tearing out a magazine page and taping it to the wall. Contributions are open to the public, and ideal for those who are lazy to post and love eyecandy.

TasteSpotting.com was launched January 2007, because designers get hungry too, and we are in awe of how delectable the finds on food blogs both look and taste! So, realizing that the passion of food lovers is often as intense as those who contribute to NOTCOT.org we've created this space for like minded people to descend upon and share what delicious dishes, posts, images, products, ingredients, etc. inspire their great tastes.
Launched with Sarah, of The Delicious Life and Slashfood, who loves food the way NOTCOT loves all things aesthetically enticing... We are thrilled to see how many people we can help to drool at their monitors on a daily basis!
NotCouture.com launched July 2007, because there was something missing from our world covering design/tech/art and food... Fashion! The art of wearables and accessories which complete our trifecta of designer passions to obsess about. So NotCouture has stepped in to fill the void with all of your luxe and fashion indulgences. Some of the mens and women's pieces that appear are truly inspiring visually, even if they don't make it into your closet.
