I don’t have a single favorite environmental cause. I am big on reusing and recycling, much to my kids’ dismay (I make them recycle everything we can). I am also big on riding my bike wherever possible. And using my own bags at stores. And conserving water and electricity.

We grow, we sit up. We grow, we crawl. We grow, we walk. We grow, we run. We grow, we jump. We grow, we rejoice … on our feet. We get knocked down, we get back up … on our feet. We meet obstacles, we overcome … on our feet. We disagree, we vote … with our feet. Life and love, pain and struggle, our feet are what we need. We aspire and retreat with our feet. Tom’s well know campaign and crusade to provide protection for the feet of the less privileged is likely under valued and under the radar. Let’s remember how we stand, where we stand, and why we stand.
