So you've seen the Day In The Life of the White Rabbit so far... well, here is more of the campaign that Fallon has put together for Syfy. This is one of those posts that took me a while to figure out how/what to show you because while i love each part individually, conceptually all together its fun to see how this one crosses in and out of online, tech, and real world! See if you can follow it all...
1. 50 Real human Rabbits run around NYC
2. Real human rabbits disappear and a huge building sized projection shows the rabbits climbing the wall...
3. Rabbit projections and real rabbits continue to run around NYC prompting people to "FOLLOW ME" which of course means twitter... and real life... (nice use of alice in wonderland meets twitter, fallon.)
4. On the twitter account you can find the link to The White Rabbit Inc, a detective agency of course. The man-rabbit is there again teasing you to follow.
5. Clicking him takes you to Wonderland Tea Shop, where he causes some havoc and teases you to follow once again.
6. Now you end up at the Happy Hearts Casino, faced with an eerie Kathy Bates Queen of Hearts backed by some show girls... and he escapes again, waiting for you to follow.
7. Where you finally land at Syfy's Alice.
Oh, but wait, that's not all... Also fascinating, Kay jewelers is sponsoring the miniseries, and they've done even MORE silliness to integrate with them... There is also Alice's Jewelry Box, where you essentially click on each of the Kay jewelry pieces to get to the "fabled Stone of Wonderland" ring of Alice's, which then lets you see concept art for the film...
I can't help but wonder, what's next? Where can i get a Rabbit mask? Will the miniseries live up to the campaign? There is so much talk these days of ways to integrate social media, ways to use twitter, how to innovate on really engaging people (in both real and online worlds) for campaigns... and i'm loving what Fallon and Syfy have pulled off with this one. With so many ideas floating around, they've definitely taken it further than most would expect, and it feels like everyone has had a blast doing it! So take a peek to see the different parts of this campaign (and a fun video too!) on the next page!

Last night popped over to the Beverly Hills Anthropologie down the street to celebrate the launch of the new Sundance Channel Show Man Shops Globe ~ and some late night shopping, some Stella Artois and Ferrero Rocher too of course... While normally not so much a reality TV person, this one is pretty fun! I love Anthropologie, and global shopping, and in this show you get to explore the world with Keith Johnson, buyer-at-large for Anthropologie, as he scopes out everything from St. Ouen Flea Market in Paris, the Kapalicarsi Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and Piet Botha's Craft Shop in Cape Town... it's a shopaholics dream. Did you know they actually shop for all the one offs strewn across the stores... and absolutely anything you see in a store (furniture, displays, etc) are ALL for sale?!?!?! I had no idea... on that note, take a peek at a preview vid as well as some pics of the very cute (and huge!) beverly hills store ~ the succulent and bromeliad displays were my favorite of course...

Beauty in Technology post series sponsored by Samsung’s new LED TVs! Post #5 of 6 in this series exploring random beauty in technology, NOTCOT style.
I know, we're not supposed to propagate the beauty myth that thinner is better, but i just can't stop walking into the room, and pausing for a moment to look at how ridiculously thin this Samsung LED TV is! As i mentioned before, while working with Samsung on this sponsorship, i fell in love and bought one! And in all honesty, it's been amazing! Beyond the little pebble remote i showed you ~ my dad even remarked that it was "frighteningly clear", which i completely agree with - you almost feel like you can reach out and poke the people in the tv! (who are definitely larger than life on the 55").
But on the tech side of it ~ its just gorgeous ~ ridiculously thin (Wunderland War Monkey Assassin will help give you some scale... especially compared to my previously thin panasonic)... seriously its the kind of thing where it may actually be thinner than some canvases i have hanging... talk about that future where we'd have moving pictures as hanging artwork? AND widgets! the UI on these Yahoo! ConnectedTV widgets for things like twitter and youtube are just stunning... See the pics on the next page!

I was watching Chuck tonight - the one where the best buy ("buy more") geek squad ("nerd herd") like guy has all the nations secrets downloaded into his brain and he has to run around and have crazy adventures playing spy, as created by the OC guy (josh schwartz) - and while it was as amusing as usual (with bizarre special guests nicole richie and ben savage) - the interiors of Sarah's apt/hotel room were terribly distracting! The wallpaper, the green chair, headboard, and door, the lamps, the side table, the punching bag hanging from the ceiling. So, i took some mediocre shots of the TV to post here before it drove me nuts trying to track down tonight's episode online... maybe i'll update it the screenshots when the online versions are ready. How gorgeous is that green?
UPDATEs: So i have swapped out all the pics of my tv screen for some better ones (and even more on the next page now too!) ~ and thanks to Andrea, we've figured out that its the Viceroy right down the street in santa monica! Wonder if they would ever let us go wander around and take pics of rooms... or now i feel like getting a room there just to see it (which seems silly living so near by) - So Sarah apparently lives in Room 832 of the Viceroy.
