This post is sponsored by DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola. Check out everything you can do with the longest lasting 4G LTE smartphone. Inspired by the qualities of this new mobile phone, here’s a fun gift guide of sorts dreamt up around 32 hours of fun!
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! An aside - working on this post made me realize I wished my phone lasted 32 hours without a charge! There’s nothing worse than those endless crazy days where you don’t have a chance to charge up properly and keep running around from amazing event to amazing event (especially when there are so many fun moments to share and capture!) I just got back from a mini road trip to SF, and imagine that 32 hours of charge would last through forgetting to charge my phone while i slept, 6 hours of roadtripping LA-SF with phone calls, emails, and music streaming, running around all day… and night… forgetting to charge it again while sleeping… driving back down to LA… and you might still be good for a little bit!
So - inspired by the DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola’s 32 hours of unbelievable battery life, we’ve created a special gift guide filled with fun! From hiking with the puppy, to relaxing at the beach, to going out for drinks, to bouncing between gallery openings, and ending up at concerts, to celebrating Valentine’s Day… explore some dream scenarios to shop for on the next page!

It’s hard to believe that our once tiny little NOTpuppy, Bucky, is now 21 weeks old and a whopping 45 lbs! Of course coming with that, is a loss of baby teeth, devious intelligence, fast growing muscles, manic speed… and new skills daily… today? He’s started mastering the jump catch - which made for some fun photos… and ridiculous faces!!! It’s also hard to believe the positions his body twists into and how high off the ground he gets! Take a peek at some of the fun on the next page!
p.s. See more on the adorably sad fox ball toy (and the beavers, platypus, and other colors) here

There is an amazing Gorilla that appears to be leaning on an ad/bench at Pacific and Brooks in Venice that i drive by every few days and have been meaning to stop and take a pic of for ages! To my delight, today on Yo! Venice!, they have shared the new mural above that just popped up on Abbot Kinney on the side of Isabelle Alford-Lago’s amazing gorillas! This Santa Cruz native went to USC, and currently works and lives right here in Venice, CA ~ which explains why so many of her gorilla murals have been popping up nearby. Take a peek at some of my favorites on the next page!

From the adventures last week with Land Rover, so far you’ve seen the stunning off roading, now take a look at what is inside the 2013 Range Rover! This cutaway model sat outside the entrance of Amangiri during our press trip, and amidst the desert landscape, looks like a carcass that has been partially picked apart by vultures. What’s especially fun is the chance to get an up close peek at what is under the skin of the 2013 Range Rover - from the aluminum body to the pillowy air bags that make up the seat massagers, cut away wheels and tires to the Meridian sounds system and more! Take a look at it all on the next page…

Wow - what a day it was yesterday. Bounced from LA to Phoenix to Page and across the AZ/UT border to Amangiri to explore the latest 4th gen 2013 Range Rover, and in 12 crazy hours, went through everything from freezing cold to bright sunshine, to fresh snow covered endlessness, to more sun, to hail, to rocky climbs, to red sandiness, a stunning cliff sunset and more. When Land Rover takes you out to show you what their cars can do, they are serious about the “breadth of capability”. The new faster, lighter, smarter Range Rovers hold on to their luxurious, explorer heritage while embracing new technology to ensure their drivers are ready for anything from racing through the city (supercharged will get you 0-60 in 5 seconds!) to climbing through just about any terrain (including wading through nearly 3 ft of water) at the push of a button. And they really brought us out to an incredibly remote spot that left us dancing across the Arizona and Utah border. Take a peek on the next page at some of yesterday’s adventure.
I say “some”, because there is doing and there is shooting - biggest thing i realized going back through these pictures is that some of the best fun i had, i was too busy driving to take pictures! So for this post you’ll get a peek at what it looked like when i was passengering… and perhaps as more photos get shared, i’ll have a few of what it looked like while i was driving to add in! (UPDATE: added more pics of what it was like when i was driving to the end of the post!) And having grown up an SUV driver, i love a car that can handle more than just what you’ll usually throw at it - and the handling on the 2013 Range Rover is fantastic… definitely worth a drive if you have the chance, and try to get it off road if possible too! But first - adventure pics on the next page!

Packaging impulse buy… i had to poke at these Stacked Wines. Prepackaged in individual sealed plastic glasses that pop-lock into one another and have a plastic lid on the top one… all sealed up in colorful plastic. It’s a fun picnic idea, but definitely feels like a set of interlocking grown up juice boxes. Take a peek at all the details on the next page…
